This epic western tells about the West family and their life-threatening struggles to keep their Wet Springs Ranch from being stolen by the evil town-ruling Poindexter. During Kurt West's youth, the family befriends many people from various cultures and religions. These individuals are instrumental in the battle against the hired guns of Poindexter. Kurt, at an early age, saves a kitten and a filly that become bonded to him. Young Kurt also becomes a pistolero and saves his father from attacking rustlers. The story of Kurt's honest courage and fame as a child gunfighter spreads throughout the region. Later, as a teenager, Kurt falls in love with the stepdaughter of their enemy, Poindexter. How the Wests overcome the ruthless attacks of Poindexter and his crew is the finale of this fast-moving and unique western saga.
